Nidac Security feel secure in their choice of accounting software
Nidac Security an award winning Australian manufacturer and distributor of security products and a longstanding Arrow Financials user recently decided to implement Tencia, a 100% Australian owned and locally developed accounting software solution.
“We wanted to streamline management reporting and look for ways to integrate our back end financials with an e-commerce store to create more opportunities for new sales growth,” said their General Manager, Tristan Hast. “Our vision was that the e-commerce solution would provide Nidac with an additional sales channel that would help us penetrate international markets. We were also looking for new efficiencies when it came to customer orders and payment processing," explained Tristan.
Working with their Arrow Business Partner, Logon Australia, Nidac were able to implement a solution that delivered just what they were looking for. “Logon Australia were exceptional throughout this process. I cannot fault them, they were upfront and honest about things which meant that I knew just what to expect, also it was great knowing that we were working with local Australian businesses who provided local on-site support,” said Tristan.
Tencia Connect, Arrow's integration facility, was used to integrate the e-commerce store directly to Tencia Stock, Debtors, Sales orders and Cash book without the need for double keying information between the e-commerce system and the back end financial system. Nidac customers can now browse for products online, check the status of their orders, pay for goods and enter orders 24 hours a day from anywhere around the globe. "Now we spend less time chasing payments and trying to set discounts and margins and more time focusing on our core business,” Explains Tristan.
These changes have had a positive impact on Nidac and have helped to deliver improvements to their bottom line.
